Today’s blog is about the WANT formula.
Let me tell you what I mean.
That person that’s annoying you…

Frustrating you…

Making your life unhappy…

It’s not fair…

And all that!

You gotta look beyond the person in front of you who is doing your head in…
The thing is the person; the body and face you see before you is just the surface of what is going on inside of them.

Just like you, they have dreams and aspirations; tales of happiness and woe.

Just like you, they are trying their best with what they’ve got at this present moment.

Remember the next time you want to give someone the evil eye or gossip behind their back that actually there is so much more going on than what’s on the surface.

Try going beyond, try going deeper and you’ll realise they ain’t doing your head in that’s just because you want them to be someone they’re not at the moment!

This is one of the things I teach in The Good Thinking Club and in my 1-1 coaching. The WANT formula is where we manage our own thoughts and expectations.
We sort out what we can change…
We can change what we WANT
And that’s the WANT formula

Hey, I know creating consistent and incremental change takes time and effort.

It doesn’t always go to plan and it sometimes feels like it’s making no difference whatsoever.

Sometimes you feel you are moving forward in leaps and bounds and other times it feels like you’re a complete failure and wasting your time.

Both are true…

Both are also temporary…

The pathway of change is like a mountain path.

You’re always traveling towards the peak but it feels like you’re going around and around; sometimes up and sometimes down.

The ONLY thing you can do and be the master of is what you do now…

Right now this second.

Forget the failures and successes…

Wipe the slate clean…

And promise yourself you will take action…

You will take one small and simple step towards your mountain peak.

Don’t get confused with busyness and the congestion of your thinking…

Just do!

Do something small…

Make a commitment right now and share it with me.

Of course, you may not do what it is you promise however those pains and thoughts of being caught out and being held responsible are part of the energies that can help us move forward!

Take one action at a time.

Mess up – wipe the slate clean and start again!

Go on do it…
